Van Dalen Wins SAC Elite 23 Award
Marnix Van Dalen has claimed the South Atlantic Conference’s Elite 23 Award for Men’s Tennis.
SUMTER, S.C. – Marnix Van Dalen has claimed the South Atlantic Conference's Elite 23 Award for Men's Tennis.
Carson-Newman All-Conference Men's Tennis player Marnix Van Dalen was announced as the 2024-25 SAC Men's Tennis Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award winner on Wednesday afternoon prior to the quarterfinal clash with Lincoln Memorial at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
A native of the Netherlands, Van Dalen has accumulated a GPA of 4.00 with 120 credit hours earned. Van Dalen was named to the All-SAC Second Teams for both singles and doubles and is playing his final season at Carson-Newman.
Van Dalen went 8-3 in singles play, and 15-5 in doubles during the regular season.
Carson-Newman earned the six seed at the South Atlantic Conference Tournament and will play Lincoln Memorial starting at 2 p.m. A live audio stream is available for free courtesy of RadioTennis.com.
