Eagles in 15th After Day One at LeeAnn Noble Memorial

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Eagles women's golf team finished day one of the LeeAnn Noble Memorial in 15th, shooting 62-over par as a team.

Ida Petersen led the way for the Eagles in the first 36 holes, finishing tied for 24th, shooting a 75 and a 76 on the second 18 holes, going 7-over par on the day.

Madison Cline finished tied for 69th, improving on an 83 in the first round with a 79 in the second, finishing at 18-over after day one. Ana Herrera finished tied for 71st with an 80-shot performance in the first round, followed by an 83 in the second to finish at 19-over on the day.

Ashley Holland came in tied for 79th at 23-over after an 82 in round one and an 85 in round two. Caroline Nemes rounded out the Eagle starters tied for 81st, shooting an 89 in the first round, followed by a 9-stroke improvement in round two with an 80 to finish at 25-over on the afternoon.

The Eagles return to the LeeAnn Noble Memorial tomorrow at 9 AM for the final 18 holes.
