Young Eagle Lineup Finishes 7th at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate
 

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman women's golf team finished the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in 7th, jumping one spot following a 331 in the final round, finishing the event at 57-over as a team.

Freshman Macy Bromley led the Eagles, delivering a top-15 standing after shooting an 80 in the final round to finish the event at 23-over. Bromley finished the front nine strong with a birdie, leading to five straight pars to help her to a 13th-place finish.

Emery Fisher jumped four spots on the final day to finish tied for 22nd, shooting her best round with an 80 in round three, finishing the event at 29-over. Despite a handful of bogeys, Fisher notched two birdies and five pars to propel her to a nice finish.

Parker Miller tied for 38th, shooting an 84 in round three to finish the event at 39-over. Miller shot a birdie on both the front and back nine, including a stretch of back-to-back pars followed by a birdie to start the back nine on hole ten.

Ella Whaley rounded out the Eagles in 54th, shooting her best round of the three-day event with an 87 in the final round to finish at 71-over. Whaley notched a birdie and had seven pars to finish the event on a high note.

The Eagles will regroup and prepare for the final event of the regular season at the Lady Bearcat Invitational on March 25th and 26th in Greenwood, South Carolina.
