She was as low as 1-under halfway through the front nine thanks to a birdie on the par-5 3rd hole, but she carded a trio of bogeys and a double-bogey late. She was 17-over on the week.
Historically, the Eagles have had good showings in Sevierville. The team recorded the ninth-best 54-hole score in the history of the tournament in 2017 with a 68-over 932 to finish fourth. Elizabeth England won the individual championship that year, finishing with a six-over 219, her second event win of the 2016-2017 season.
The three-day tournament will feature a healthy mix of both ranked Division-II and local Division-I competition. The Carson-Newman men's team will also compete at the event, at the Sevierville Golf Club River Course for the men's bracket.
