Eagles maintain sixth in Southeast Region

NCAA Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In the second set of NCAA region rankings, No. 13 Carson-Newman maintains the sixth spot in the Southeast region.

The Eagles are one of five SAC schools ranked inside the top eleven of the region rankings. Anderson is No. 1, Lincoln Memorial is at No. 5, Coker is No. 9 and Limestone is the last team in at No. 10.

Joining Anderson and LMU inside the top five is North Georgia, Georgia Southwestern and Clayton State.

Eight of the eleven teams listed in the Southeast region rankings are in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll.

C-N made the regional last season and finished in eleventh place.

Only the top ten teams in the region qualify. Teams that win their respective conference championship will receive automatic bids into each regional tournament. 

The rankings are the official poll the NCAA utilizes in the championship selection process.
