ROCK HILL, S.C. - Carson-Newman women's soccer had five South Atlantic Conference all-conference honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

C-N tied for the second-most all-conference selections in the conference.

Sophomore Nellie Bryneus was C-N's lone first team selection. Bryneus earns her second All-SAC honor. As a freshman, she was a third-team selection. She was one of three players to lead C-N in goals scored this year with four. Two of her four goals came in non-conference play. She scored or assisted on a goal in six games this season.

"Of course, it's always hard work," Bryenus said. "But I think our team this year really helped me provide the team with goals and I just wanted to help the team do as good as possible.

Three Eagles garnered second-team honors. Seniors Addie Henry and Jente Kuper, and junior Abbie Zander.

Henry earns an all-conference honor for the fourth consecutive season. In 2019, as a freshman, she earned honorable mention. The spring 2021 covid season, she earned a first-team honor and last season was a third team pick. Henry tied for the team lead in assists with five. She also scored three goals in her 17 games played. She scored or assisted on a goal in seven games this season.

For the fifth consecutive season, senior Jente Kuper earns an All-SAC second-team selection. She tied for the team lead with four goals scored this season, while only taking six shots. It's the first time in her career she scored multiple goals in a season. Kuper played in 15 games for C-N, making 10 starts.

Abbie Zander earns her first all-conference honor of her career. She played an integral part in C-N's attack this season. Zander tied Henry with five assists. The highlight of her season came on October 5th against Bluefield St. She scored one goal, assisted on three others in C-N's 5-0 win.

The Eagles final all-conference selection was freshman Felicia Frick, who earned third team honors. She scored two goals this season, both of which came on penalty kicks. Frick played and started in 16 of C-N's 17 games.
