JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman women's tennis (2-12) will take on the University of Virginia at Wise (7-11) on Monday, APr. 10^th. The Eagles will then play in their final home game against Mars Hill (7-10) on Tuesday before playing their season finale against #10 Newberry (13-2) on Saturday.

The Eagles are coming off their second win of the season after defeating Lincoln Memorial 4-3 last Wednesday. Carson-Newman won the doubles point for the third time this season before singles victories from Anita Chornei, Natasha Forrest, and Mollie Edge led to Carson-Newman's victory.

Anita Chornei is the ITA's 73^rd-ranked singles player in Division-II. Chornei has a 1-0 record against nationally ranked opponents and a 2-0 record against regionally ranked opponents. Chornei is 6-8 so far this season, picking up most of her wins as Carson-Newman's one player.

Natasha Forrest leads the Eagles in singles victories this season. Forrest is 10-4 this season, including a 7-2 record in conference play. Forrest also leads the Eagles in doubles victories. She earned six when paired with Julia Speiser and two when paired with Summer Reeves.
