Chornei Earns Spot on ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. - Anita Chornei remains in the ITA's rankings for the fourth straight week. Chornei is the 73rd-ranked singles player in the ITA National Division-II Rankings.

Chornei has won five matchups in 13 appearances, including a win over #24 Ashleigh Simes of Lee University on Feb. 28th. Chornei won in sets of 7-5, 2-6, and 6-3. Chornei has lined up as Carson-Newman's one player for 11 straight weeks. Chornei is 31-19 during her three years at Carson-Newman.

The Eagles will play Lincoln Memorial University on Apr. 5th before traveling to Virginia-Wise on Friday, Apr. 7th.
