HARROGATE, Tenn. - Carson-Newman women's tennis (2-12) defeated Lincoln Memorial University (8-9) to earn their second win of the season. The Eagles won 4-3.
Natasha Forrest won her 10th individual matchup of the season when she defeated Rasalie Carrier-Dulac. Forrest also leads the Eagles in doubles victories this season with eight.
Doubles
Mollie Edge and Summer Reeves defeated Rosalie Carrier-Dulac and Kushi Khandojk 6-1. Edge and Reeves are 4-3 as a pair this season.
Julia Speiser and Natasha Forrest Lined up against Amanda Dahlstorm and Keana Moon. The Eagles won 6-4, clinching the doubles point for just the second time this season.
Carson-Newman forfeited the final doubles set.
Singles
Anita Chornei, the ITA's 73rd-ranked ITA player, won her matchup against Sophia Aray. Chornei has a career record of 31-19.
Forrest won her 10th match of the season when she defeated Rosalie Carrier-Dulac. Forrest won in sets of 6-4 and 6-3.
Mollie Edge won Carson-Newman's third singles point when she took on Haley White. White won the first set, but Edge was able to rally to win the second set 6-1. Edge captured the final set 6-4 to secure her fifth win.
Carson-Newman returns to action on Apr. 7th when they travel to take on Virginia-Wise.
