JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - #43 Carson-Newman men's tennis (11-7, 9-2 South Atlantic Conference) wins their third straight match after defeating Mars Hill (4-14, 2-8 SAC) 6-1 on Tuesday.

"The men's team had a slow start in a close doubles match but were able to forget about it to get the job done in singles play," head coach Felipe Charry said. "The game put us closer to our goal of finishing top 3 in the conference."

Carson-Newman's victory moves them past #31 Anderson (12-3, 8-2 SAC) for third place in the conference, although Anderson could move back into third if they defeat Catawba (6-11, 4-6 SAC) on Wednesday.
